LIMITING CONSTRUCTION DAMAGE IN THE LANDSCAPES: CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS
TUESDAY JANUARY 14, 2025
11:00 AM - 12:00 NOON
Landscape contractors are often the last to arrive on a new build or renovation site, and can face challenging conditions from common sources of damage such as excessive vegetation clearing, topsoil removal, erosion, and soil compaction. The landscape contractor is then tasked with transforming the site from construction chaos into a finished landscape — often with limited time and resources to ensure proper site remediation for long-term health and sustainability. In this interactive talk, we will delve deeper into these and other challenges, and we’ll discuss sustainable practices and practical solutions to mitigate these adverse impacts while providing our clients with beautiful, biodiverse landscapes that support wildlife and other beneficial ecological services.
